The wear and tear of the discs depends on the how the vehicle is driven. On a vehicle driven mostly on motorways, the brake discs will last longer than those on a vehicle driven mostly in town, or on winding roads. To guarantee driver safety, it is recommended to change the discs at every third brake pads change, i.e. about every 80,000 to 90,000 kms.
